Stranded short-finned pilot whale "Haili" recovers at Sanya Haichang Animal Conservation Center, expanding its swimming area.
A short-finned pilot whale named "Haili" rescued after being stranded in Haitang Bay, Sanya, China, has fully recovered and is now feeding and diving normally. The whale is being cared for at the Sanya Haichang Animal Conservation Center in Hainan Province, and its recovery has led to expanding its swimming area to three pools. Further treatment and release plans will be made based on Haili's physical condition.
