Study at University of Gothenburg reveals daily activities at work and home don't shield against stroke, but exercising in free time and using active transport reduce stroke risk. The research, conducted over 20 years, involved 3,614 people from Västra Götaland region. Lead author Adam Viktorisson notes that leisure time and active transport activities are increasingly important as many jobs and domestic activities become sedentary.
