PsiQuantum plans to build its first US-based utility-scale quantum computer in Chicago, Illinois as part of a partnership with the State of Illinois, Cook County, and the City of Chicago. The project, to be developed at the former US Steel South Works site, will be a multibillion-dollar investment and is expected to create an estimated $20 billion in economic impact over the next decade, alongside creating over 175,000 jobs.
