IBM has expanded its Quantum Data Center in Poughkeepsie, New York, now housing the most utility-scale quantum computers globally. The new IBM Quantum system, utilizing the advanced Quantum Heron processor, boasts a 16-fold reduction in error rates and a 25-fold speed increase compared to 2022 models. This facility serves as a hub for over 250 organizations to develop quantum algorithms and includes a new AI model for weather and climate, created with NASA and Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
