Former Columbus Zoo CEO Tom Stalf has pleaded guilty to 15 felonies, including aggravated theft, conspiracy, and telecommunications fraud, for his involvement in a fraud scheme that defrauded the zoo of over $2.29 million. Stalf will pay $315,572.65 in criminal restitution, in addition to the $400,000 already made in 2021. Four other former employees, including the former CFO and marketing director, have also pleaded guilty to various felony charges related to the fraud.
