Australia's Federal Court has ruled that PayPal Australia used an unfair term in its standard contracts with small business customers, allowing the company to retain fees if errors in overcharging were not reported within 60 days. PayPal agreed that the term was unfair and has voluntarily removed it from its contracts. The court declared the term void and ordered PayPal to not enforce it.
