Poland's antitrust and consumer protection watchdog, UOKiK, fined PayPal Europe $27.3 million for ambiguous contractual clauses, which failed to clearly state activities that could lead to penalties for users. The regulator found that the terms were unclear and may have left users unsure of what actions are prohibited and what penalties could be applied. PayPal has the right to appeal the decision.
