CHP officer Ryan Moore rescued a kitten from a Monterey highway, adopted it, and named it Chippy.
California Highway Patrol officer, Ryan Moore, saved a kitten from a Monterey, California highway and adopted it, naming it Chippy in honor of the CHP officers. Moore was called to the scene on June 14th, temporarily stopped traffic and enlisted the help of SPCA Monterey County to rescue the kitten from a Prius's wheel well. Moore and his family have welcomed Chippy into their home.
