34-year-old Cesar Garcia-Pelico, a Cedar Rapids resident, drowned at Lake MacBride on June 13th.
34-year-old Cedar Rapids resident Cesar Garcia-Pelico was identified as the drowning victim at Lake MacBride on June 13th. Garcia-Pelico jumped into the water near the Coralville Reservoir and failed to resurface. First responders found his body after a search operation that lasted over an hour and 20 minutes. The Johnson County Sheriff's Office is continuing its investigation into the incident.
