International consortium OSCAR studies Oman's potential for sustainable fuel production, including e-Gasoline and e-SAF, and aims to produce 1 million tonnes of green hydrogen by 2030.
An international consortium, Oman Sustainable Cars and Aviation Refuelling (OSCAR), including OQ Alternative Energy, Dutco, Sumitomo Corporation, Automobili Lamborghini, and Airbus, is studying Oman's potential for producing sustainable automobile and aircraft fuels like e-Gasoline and e-SAF. The consortium also signed a joint study agreement for evaluating the feasibility of establishing an electric natural gas production unit in Oman. Oman aims to produce 1 million tonnes of green hydrogen annually by 2030.
