AD Ports Group, Transmar, and Orascom Construction signed an MoU to develop a green methanol storage and export facility in Egypt, aligning with the UAE's decarbonisation goals. The facility aims to supply low-carbon fuel for maritime transport & contribute to Egypt's efforts in reducing GHG emissions. By 2050, green hydrogen-based fuels are expected to be the backbone of decarbonizing the global maritime industry.
