Idemitsu, ENEOS, Toyota, and MHI collaborate in a joint study to introduce carbon-neutral fuels in Japan by 2030.

Idemitsu, ENEOS, Toyota, and MHI have started a joint study to introduce and spread carbon-neutral fuels for automobiles, aiming to realize a carbon-neutral society. These fuels, including synthetic and biofuels, limit CO2 emissions across their life cycle and are set to be introduced in Japan by 2030. The companies, each with roles in supply, technology, and demand, will collaborate on this effort.
