39-year-old Gerardo Mendoza-Rodriquez was arrested in Columbia after allegedly ramming another man, 51-year-old Thomas Deon Braden, with his car, killing him, following an argument. Mendoza-Rodriquez has been charged with first-degree murder, aggravated assault resulting in death, and driving on a suspended license. The altercation occurred at a convenience store near the scene where Braden's body was found.
