A Lake County judge ruled that Vickie Williams, accused of fatally stabbing an elderly Mount Dora couple on New Year's Eve 2022, is incompetent to stand trial. Williams' attorney had experts testify during a competency hearing that she was psychotic and schizophrenic. The couple, Darryl Getman and Sharon Getman, were found dead in their home, and Williams was later arrested in Georgia with their car.
