25-year-old Nicholas Jordan, a former UCCS student, found incompetent to stand trial for UCCS student murders.

25-year-old Nicholas Jordan has been found incompetent to stand trial for the murders of two University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) students, Samuel Knopp and Celie Rain Montgomery, in February. Jordan, a former UCCS student, was arrested following the shooting. A state psychologist completed a competency evaluation for Jordan, with the prosecution requesting a second evaluation. Jordan will remain in the custody of the state hospital until the next steps in his case are determined.
