35-year-old Kyle Williams, charged with first and second-degree murder in the 2021 strangulation death of 36-year-old Kelly Kocurek in Hastings, Minnesota, has been declared competent for trial by a Dakota County judge. Williams' trial, initially delayed due to previous psychological evaluations deeming him incompetent, is now scheduled for early November.
