Innergex Renewable Energy Inc. announces the operation of its 35MW San Andrés battery energy storage facility in northern Chile. Located at an existing solar facility site, the battery system stores surplus solar energy for evening and early morning use. The facility is expected to generate annual revenues of $8.2M to $10.9M, with operating expenses of $500K in its first full year of operation.
