BLM approves 150MW Alta Wind Battery Energy Storage project in California, US. The project will store up to 1,200MWh, enhance clean power from the existing Alta Wind Energy Center, and be situated entirely within the existing right-of-way for the Alta 1 Wind Facility. Energy Vault also announced groundbreaking for the largest long-duration green hydrogen storage facility in the US, expected to provide up to 48 hours of power during Public Safety Power Shutoffs.
