605,000 kW energy storage power station to boost solar power grid reliability in China's Ulan Buh Desert.

Inner Mongolia Energy Group is building a 605,000 kilowatt energy storage power station in the Ulan Buh Desert, China's largest project of its kind. Costing approximately 295 million USD, it aims to stabilize electricity supply from solar facilities. Expected to connect to the grid by year's end, it will generate 3.16 billion kWh annually, reducing carbon emissions by 2.75 million tonnes and aiding in desertification efforts.
