A mother and her infant child were allegedly abducted at knife-point in Melbourne's southeast on May 10. The suspect, an Asian male aged 20-35, forced the pair to drive to multiple electronics stores while he remained in the backseat with the child. The woman was demanded to buy four Apple MacBook laptops, which the assailant later fled with at the Robert Booth Reserve, leaving the victims unharmed. Police have released CCTV footage of the suspect and urge anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
