NSW Government has made the UTI pharmacy trial permanent, allowing eligible pharmacists to provide consultations and prescriptions for uncomplicated urinary tract infections (UTIs) from 1 June. Over 1000 pharmacies participated in the trial, with more than 16,000 women benefiting from UTI treatment. This initiative is expected to increase access to healthcare and improve convenience for women in NSW.
