Irish mortgage rates reached a six-year high in March, averaging 4.31%, making it the 6th highest rate in the Eurozone. The Eurozone average dropped for the 4th month in a row to 3.84%. In response, several banks cut rates and increased incentives, while the European Central Bank is expected to cut interest rates next month. The gap between Irish and Eurozone rates is now its widest since July 2022.
