Irish mortgage rates eased in April, dropping to 4.24% on average, placing Ireland seventh in the Eurozone. The Central Bank reported a 0.07% decrease since March, yet rates remain 61 basis points higher than the previous year. Eurozone average rates fell for the fifth consecutive month to 3.81%. As fixed-rate mortgages for many holders end, they may face higher repayments.
