Ireland's annual inflation rate dropped to 2.6% in April, a 33-month low, as international energy prices decreased. Despite overall inflation declining, the Central Statistics Office's underlying rate, excluding volatile energy and food prices, remained at 3.5%. Industrial production in Ireland also experienced a sharp rise of 35.2% in March, following a significant slump in February.
