The University of Minnesota is considering tuition increases at its five campuses next school year to deal with inflation, wage demands, and budget constraints. Under a proposal, Minnesota residents studying at the Twin Cities campus would see a 4.5% increase in tuition, while other campuses may see increases ranging from 1.5% to 4.5%. The proposed $5bn budget would also raise salaries for some employees and implement budget cuts in certain areas.
