Utah's state-supported colleges and universities will raise tuition and fees this fall, with increases ranging from 2.61% at Weber State University to 3.98% at Salt Lake Community College. The Utah System of Higher Education's board approved a 3.3% systemwide weighted average increase, despite last year's freeze imposed by Governor Spencer Cox. Despite the rise, many public colleges in Utah remain more affordable than national peers.
