Georgia public universities increase tuition 2.4% for 2024-25 academic year due to rising costs.

Georgia public universities will increase tuition and fees for the 2024-2025 academic year due to rising costs. The Board of Regents approved the tuition hike for the system's 26 educational institutions. In-state undergraduate students will pay $6,466 for two semesters next year, an increase of 2.4% from $6,317 in the current academic year. The rise in tuition and fees will help the schools maintain a quality education amidst increasing expenses in areas such as technology, software, food, utilities, insurance, and employee salaries.
