U.S. crude oil production at 13.1 million b/d unchanged, up 800,000 b/d YoY, with 80% growth from Lower 48 states.

U.S. crude oil production remained unchanged at 13.1 million barrels per day (b/d) during the week ending April 26, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA). However, production grew by 800,000 b/d from the same period last year, with more than 80% of growth coming from the Lower 48 states. The U.S. has become a major oil producer in recent years due to its shale oil production growth.
