22-year-old Samy Taib's four-year sentence for choking, punching, and driving over his former partner is upheld by the Court of Appeal.

The Court of Appeal refused to reduce the four-year sentence of Samy Taib (22), who choked, punched, and drove over his former partner, causing her harm. Taib also pleaded guilty to driving without a license and insurance, and endangering his former partner in separate incidents. At the time of his sentencing, he had 22 previous convictions, mainly for road traffic offences.
