49-year-old Slawomir Stiller, nearly six times over the legal limit, was sentenced to 28 months in prison for driving the wrong way on A9 dual carriageway near Inverness at 60mph, ramming a woman's car. Stiller, who believed the female driver was his wife, was found with a breath alcohol level of 136 microgrammes per 100ml during a roadside test. He has been disqualified from driving for nine years and two months.
