21-year-old off-duty officer Angilley fined, license suspended for organizing street race in Nowra, NSW, crashing his BMW.

21-year-old off-duty police officer Thomas Leigh Angilley was fined $1750 and had his driver's license suspended for 12 months after pleading guilty to organizing an illegal street race in Nowra, NSW south coast. The incident took place on November 16, 2023, when Angilley crashed his BMW into a power pole during the race. His employment status with the NSW Police is currently under review.
