NDLEA intercepts commercial bus with N3.2m counterfeit cash in Abuja, arrests three individuals and seizes 310kg of cannabis.
The NDLEA intercepted a commercial bus carrying N3.2 million in counterfeit cash owned by three individuals: eight-month pregnant Favour Peter, 24; Esther Adukwu, 27, and Ochigbo Michael, 39. They were arrested at Jabi Park in Abuja following the seizure of fake naira notes in Lokoja, Kogi State. Additionally, the NDLEA, in collaboration with the Nigerian Navy Ship Lugard base, arrested 37-year-old Aliyu Lawal along Lokoja-Abuja road, recovering 620 blocks of cannabis weighing 310kg.
