The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Nigeria has dismantled an international drug syndicate with networks in Nigeria, South Africa, and Thailand. In a two-week intelligence-led operation, five members of the syndicate were arrested, and multiple drug consignments were seized. The syndicate's cargo, including Loud, a synthetic strain of cannabis, and drug candies, was concealed in false bottoms of suitcases. NDLEA officers arrested additional suspects in different locations and intercepted a 40-ft gas tanker with cannabis hidden inside.
