Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper injured in US-35 crash while responding to emergency call.
An Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper was injured in a two-vehicle crash on US-35 and SR-32 in Jackson County. The trooper was responding to an emergency call with lights and sirens on when a Dodge Ram, driven by 27-year-old Aric Yates, lost control and struck the patrol car. The trooper sustained minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital, while Yates was uninjured. The crash remains under investigation.
