Police in Hampshire & Isle of Wight urge public to report suspicious activities around bird nests, supporting the National Wildlife Crime Unit. Whole clutches of eggs from UK's rarest birds are stolen and traded internationally. Detective Inspector Mark Harrison states that while egg collecting has declined due to law enforcement and a change in attitude, the problem persists with new related risks emerging.
