37-year-old arrested in Hampshire for animal welfare, poaching, and firearms offenses after 50 dead hares, a barn owl, and a kestrel found dumped near a shop.

50 dead hares, a barn owl, and a kestrel were found dumped outside Broughton Community Shop in Hampshire on 15 March, leading to the arrest of a 37-year-old man from Totton on suspicion of various offenses, including animal welfare and poaching offenses, as well as a firearms-related offense. A 27-year-old man from Hythe was also interviewed under caution. Both remain under investigation, with the motive behind the incident still unknown.
