Authorities discovered approximately 160 firearms, a fully automatic assault rifle with a grenade launcher, silencers, a stolen shotgun, and other destructive devices during a search of his residence. The investigation into Bingham's association with a criminal gang began in January 2024. The deputy was placed on leave, and his case was referred to the district attorney.
