Local authorities, including an Olmsted County Sheriff's Deputy and Mayo Clinic Ambulance, responded to the call. While treating Stevens, who had ingested methamphetamine, heroin, and mushrooms, the deputy discovered stolen power tools matching a description from a reported construction site theft in Stewartville. The deputy photographed the tools and discovered a woman in the residence was wanted by law enforcement.
