British Columbia's Environment Ministry has issued an environmental assessment certificate for a marine jetty project in Delta, B.C., which will facilitate liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports. The jetty will serve ships exporting B.C. LNG, and is not dependent on the proposed FortisBC Tilbury expansion. The project still requires federal approvals and provincial permits and authorizations before construction can begin.
