British Columbia Energy Regulator (BCER) has granted a permit to FortisBC for its Eagle Mountain to Woodfibre Pipeline project, allowing treated wastewater discharge at three sites (two at BC Rail site and one at Woodfibre site). Discharge must comply with provincial guidelines and not adversely affect the environment. FortisBC must submit weekly reports, with copies provided to First Nations and posted publicly.
