Amazon appeals $34.6M CNIL fine for alleged excessive employee surveillance in France.
Amazon.com is appealing a $34.6 million fine imposed by the French regulator, CNIL, for allegedly setting up an excessive employee surveillance system. The CNIL fined Amazon France Logistique, which manages large Amazon warehouses in France, in January, stating the system was "excessively intrusive."
