Spain’s high court suspends $209 million fines on Apple, Amazon amid appeal.

In Spain, the high court has suspended fines of $209 million that were imposed on Amazon and Apple last July by the local antitrust watchdog, CNMC. The tech giants have appealed the fines, which were issued for allegedly collaborating to prevent retailers other than Amazon from selling Apple products on Amazon's Spanish websites. The companies were fined $143.6 million and $50.5 million respectively. The court's decision to suspend the payment is part of the appeal process and does not predetermine its final ruling.
