Former Met Police officer, Isaque Rodrigues-Leite, has been jailed for two years and three months after being found guilty of false imprisonment, common assault, criminal damage, and coercive control against his wife. The court heard that his abuse escalated after joining the police force, including trapping his wife in a caravan and a bedroom, hitting her with a car, and threatening her with a knife. Rodrigues-Leite was sentenced at Croydon Crown Court following his guilty verdict in November.
