Derbyshire ex-officer Matthew Longmate's suspended sentence for on-duty misconduct in 2015 was overturned, resulting in an 11-month prison term.

Former Derbyshire police officer, Matthew Longmate, has been jailed after his suspended sentence was overturned by the Court of Appeal. Longmate was convicted in January of misconduct in public office for having sex with a woman in a patrol car while on duty in 2015. The court changed his sentence from a 12-month suspended sentence to an 11-month prison term.
