Two sisters, Farin Sagir Khan (25) and Arfina Sagir Khan (22), were arrested at Mumbai airport for smuggling gold worth Rs 1.17 crore. They arrived from Jeddah and claimed to be following instructions from a person named Mohammad. Mumbai Airport Customs Zone-III officials also seized 6.53 kg of gold worth Rs 3.73 crore and eight expensive iPhones in various incidents over a 24-hour period. Additionally, 482 gram of gold was seized at Amritsar airport.
