RWE begins construction on Italian solar farms, aiming to power over 13,000 homes by year-end.

German energy company RWE has started building its first Agri-PV projects in Italy, set to produce green electricity for over 13,000 households. Located in Benevento, the Morcone and Acquafredda sites will house over 32,500 solar modules with elevated tracker systems to boost energy yield while supporting farming beneath the panels. Completion is expected by year-end, adding to RWE's existing 527 MW of wind farm capacity in Italy.
