Pakistani court charges 14 PTI members, including leaders, over violent protests and GHQ attack in 2023.

An anti-terrorism court in Pakistan has indicted 14 Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) members, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and senior leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi, for their alleged involvement in violent protests and an attack on the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi on May 9, 2023. The protests followed the arrest of PTI founder Imran Khan. A total of 113 suspects have been charged in the case so far, with the court scheduling a hearing for the remaining six accused on December 21.
