Pakistan police implicate PTI Vice-Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi in eight more cases related to May 9 protests after Imran Khan's arrest.
Police in Pakistan implicated PTI Vice-Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi in eight more cases related to May 9 protests following Imran Khan's arrest. Qureshi is in Rawalpindi's Adiala Jail, facing multiple charges, including a 10-year sentence under the Official Secrets Act. A special team sought permission to arrest, question, and summon Qureshi but was denied due to security concerns. Instead, the court allowed the investigation officer to visit Adiala Jail to question the accused within three days. The court ordered the police to present Qureshi before it through a video link on May 27.
