Pakistani court issues arrest warrants for PTI leaders over alleged involvement in riots.

An Anti-Terrorism Court in Pakistan has issued non-bailable arrest warrants for several Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders, including Omar Ayub and Shibli Faraz, over their alleged involvement in the May 9 riots. The warrants were issued due to their failure to appear in court for a case involving the burning of a police van. PTI leaders are also accused of aiding the arson. This legal action follows violent protests and vandalism of military installations after the arrest of PTI founder Imran Khan in a corruption case. The PTI has demanded a judicial commission to investigate the riots.
