Study reveals over 70% of products on major U.S. e-commerce sites were not cheaper on Black Friday.

A study by Oxylabs found that over 70% of products on major U.S. e-commerce sites were priced higher on Black Friday than the week before. Tracking 61,172 products, the study revealed only 28-59% of Black Friday deals were actually the lowest price. Many advertised "former" prices were not regularly offered, raising concerns about false advertising. The findings suggest consumers should track prices year-round rather than relying on big sales for the best deals.
